Ability Enhancement Courses:

The Department has initiated two Ability Enhancement Courses for 4^th and 6^th semester students of EEE. The faculty coordinators for the programs are Prof. Babu Rajendra Prasad, Prof Raghunath M.J. Prof. Reshma V.P. and Prof. Chaitra Ganesh:

Workshops:

Workshop on Do Engineering using graphical programming tool: The Dept. of EEE has organized a 3-Day Hands-on workshop for 3rd-semester students on “Do Engineering”- using graphical programming tool in association with VI Solutions Bengaluru, during 18-20 November 2021. The Resource person for the Workshop is Mr. Esakki Raja, Sr. Application Engineer, VI Solution, Bengaluru. The Event Coordinators are Prof. Mohamed Jalaluddin, Prof. Rakshith P, Prof. Savyasachi G.K. and Prof. Goutham B.

Workshop on MS Office and plagiarism: A One Day Workshop on “MS Office, Plagiarism and Project Management” has been organized for VII Semester Students of Electrical and Electronics Department on 26/11/21. The In-house Resource Persons for the workshop are Prof. Avinash R, Prof. Savyasachi G.K. The Workshop Co-ordinators are Prof. Babu Rajendra Prasad, Prof. Raghunath M.J and Prof. Anoop H.A.

Workshop on Development and Soldering: A two-day workshop on ”Development Board and Soldering” was held on 29th & 30th November for V Semester Students of EEE. The workshop was organized by Prof. Avinash R, Prof Reshma V.P, Prof. Sushma S.R and Prof. Ganavi C.N. in association with the department level club- “VEEE-SPARC”. The Faculty Advisor for the workshop was Prof. Rakshith P.

Workshop on “IOT using NI LabVIEW: The Department of EEE has organized a Three Day workshop on “IoT using NI Labview” in association with VI solutions, Bengaluru from 09/12/21 to 11/12/21. The Resource Person for the workshop is Mr. Essaki Raja S, Senior LabVIEW Developer at VI Solutions, Bengaluru. The Workshop coordinators are Prof. Babu Rajendra Prasad, Prof. Raghunath M.J and Prof. Anoop H.A.

Workshop on Do Engineering using Arduino: The VEEE-SPARC club, in the Department of EEE, conducted one day workshop on ”Do Engineering-using Arduino” for third-semester students on 29/12/2021. The Resource Persons for the workshop were VEEE-SPARC members, faculty coordinators were Prof. Mohammed Jalaluddin, Prof. Rakshith P, Prof.Savyasachi G K & Prof. Goutham B.

Barcamp on Challanges and opportunities in utilization of solar and wind energy in charging Electric Vehicles: ESPIN Club (Electrical Student Project Inventory Network) had organized a Barcamp event on the topic “Challenges and Opportunities in the utilization of Solar and Wind Energy for EV Charging” for Students of EEE.

Workshop on Electronic Circuit Simulation: Dept of EEE, organized a One day Workshop on “Electronic Circuit Simulation” for III semester students in association with VVCE IEEE PES. The Resource Persons for the workshop were, Prof. Savyasachi G.K., Prof. Rakshith P, Prof. Reshma V.P. and Prof. Chaitra Ganesh.

Workshop on Electronic Hardware Development: Department of EEE has organized a day workshop for III semester students on ” Electronic Hardware Development” in association with the VVCE IEEE PES student chapter. The Resource Person for the workshop is Prof. Savyasachi G.K., Assistant Professor, Dept of EEE.

Technical talks and Interactions with Students:

Technical talk on Career Opportunities for Electrical Engineers: A Special talk on “Career Opportunities for Electrical Engineers in Japan” was organized on 29.10.2021. Mr. Manjunath proud Alumni of VVCE was the resource person for the program.

Distinguished Lecture on PLC and SCADA: Dr. K Gopala Reddy, Associate Professor in the Dept of EEE organized a Distinguished lecture on “PLC & SCADA” for V semester students of EEE on 26-11-2021. The talk was delivered by Mr. Shashikaran, CEO of Vidyuth Automation, Mysuru.

Human Resource Management: A Distinguished lecture on ” Human Resource Management” was organised for 5th semester EEE students on 23-11-2021 by Dr.Vijayalakshmi Urs K, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration,VVCE. The Talk was organized by Prof. Reshma V.P, Prof Avinash R, Prof. Sushma S.R and Prof. Ganavi C.N.
